Target Session
Targeted Manual Therapy £50 45mins
Often people like to "fix" a problem in a dull body massage but its only a few minutes on each body part!
In this session we target a specitic area or issue, we look at function and mobility ie discuss how you use your body, what can be done to prevent your issue, any exercises you can do. I tackle the issue with a blend of techniques from myofascial release, cupping, massage, stretching, whatever I feel is appropriate to deal with that specific issue. Feedback is vital in this session to gain the best results.

As we use our bodies we gather stress and tightness physically and mentally. Our brain learns set patterns of movement and repeats that new/learned tightness leading then to bad posture, your unconsciously holding tightness, your body reduces it's range of movement, bad posture is embedded and over time. As we get older and produce less collagen and elastin in our body our fibres begin to ache and more tightness increases which can eventually lead to an repetitive strain injury, nerve entrapment, pulling/straining your connective tissue etc. So tackle that first sign of stiffness and get booked in!
Getting to know your body, learning how to sit better in work, car, while doing tasks etc is vital to your recovery. Its important for you to keep looking after your body with regular stretching & posture alignment.
